Game Shark vs Action Replay
just what where these things and were did they go?
well they cheats on a disk and my god they were pretty expensive

game shark was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane
for one code you had to put in 60,000,000 characters
if im right about that cause i seen the cheat sheets and no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way i would put in all those codes.
the cd also played silent and you couldnt know if you got the code right and im no computer expert but i do know one bit of info can ruin everything and you had to put in that many? omg

Action Replay was the more super friendly version and thank god
♥♥♥♥ game shark. AR was much more helpful

you loaded the disk in
find your game
check the cheat you want and boot up the game. EASY!

only complaints are the more games you have set up, the longer load times
and it may crash and you would have to start over

and surprisingly they managed to make one for the DSI?
sadly we wont see AR again
devs dont like cheating i guess

Game sharks were the best. Its been a life time since Ive used one but if i remember right I used to load all the codes I wanted from the disc before I played that game. It usually would tell you if it was entered right. Youd have to re enter them if you changed the cd rom though

Same even ones you had to enter your self was not 60 million characters long.

With current-gen consoles, save editing is the norm, with Xbox One being the outlier by merit of having more secure firmware and no option to copy save files locally.
