Then the biggest issue is that when you post a few times and then met with "You've posted too much and need to wait 5 minutes to post again".
Guess I'm not using Reddit then unless I REALLY need to.
Reddit is just the best known of the worst things to ever exist out there... it's the noob pool.
Decent posts get voted down while bragging posts or stupid photos get voted up.
so your posts get seen by a couple of morons, vote it down so nobody else can read it, ridiculous system.
it really is a terrible website and horrible community and I have never used reddit since, its on my list of websites I avoid.
And if you're looking for humor, /r/FloridaMan, as much as I grumble about reposts, is rather entertaining. (And there's /r/WholesomeFloridaMan too.) And there's also /r/ScienceHumour, /r/BiomeMemes, and various other subreddits. (BiomeMemes is the least active of the ones I've listed so far but I quite like what they do.)
There's always /r/tipofmyjoystick :D
I've definitely stuck with the old style interface. The new one sucks IMO.
...remember digg? it still exists. lmao
peace out
xo
Since basically every subreddit is a separate community, there's quite a variety in the kinds of communities on the site.
So for example, I don't subscribe to /r/games or /r/gaming, but I subscribe to /r/truegaming because that's a discussion-focused subreddit, and /r/patientgamers because that also gets a bunch more discussion rather than just showing off stuff like pictures/memes.

Wow... I remember Digg
Hard to believe it still exists though... must be pretty much a ghost town... it's fun going back to some of the older sites and poking around to see who's still there, lol
I'd personally prefer a traditional forum system, but I can deal.
i signed up to talk politics. but it's terrible for that. and i don't even have that a controversial of a opinion set. really annoying.
