best WW2 multiplayer FPS game on Steam??

So I've been looking into WW2 multiplayer games on Steam. All of the ones that interest me the most... well, they are all in early access, and the reviews are mostly mixed.

So from your personal experience, which ones do you guys are worth playing?

I'm always highly skeptical about early access games, and some of these WW2 games just look like complete copies of one another

Depends on what you think of as FPS's... I would say for me:

War thunder
Heroes and Generals
World of Warships / Steel Ocean

I've been looking hard at BATTALION 1944

I have Day of Defeat: Source.... all the servers were empty, and I mean 100% deadski. A buddy and I did a "battle" between the two of us for about an hour and had only one or two people join us... it's not bad as a game, but I think it's time is up... unless we just were on at a bad time?

I second this. I found nobody playing this game and I quite enjoyed it. Try Day of Infamy. That's DoD:S only ... uhm ... better.

Sniper Elite has a multiplayer option and because of their *absolutely draconic* anti-cheat policies... and kinda because their games are on the pricey side, the multiplayer options are 'play with people who are actually good'.
