Really?? Because (ignoring the games) lightsabers were capable of cutting through almost everything except another lightsaber and semi-rare cortosis metal. It could cut through everything else though. Energy swords can’t even cut through spartan armor.

I agree with this somewhat. Lightsabers are kind of massive plot-holes anyway, so trying to compare them to something at least 1% more scientific makes it difficult.

I am definitely sided with Lightsabers being hotter, but there is no hard proof to make a factual statement which sucks...
