Report a translation problem
As for bugs and ants (it;s not 100% true that only females have wings), those that do, they are either queen ants (or potential queens), or male drones. Potential Queens can fly so that they can establish a new colony. This is when they may atttact flying male drones for mating purposes only. After mating, there is no further benefit to a male drone and they die out very quickly.
The remaining worker ants in a colony are all technically female (and sterile) so strictly speaking the main character in both A Bug's Life and Antz in theory should also be female too.
It's how nature is.
