No, objectively. The original funk, definitely not. The editing in 99.9% of future funk, however, is extremely basic. I'd post the meme of a guy making a future funk track in a minute if I could find it.

Electro funk (particularly the 80s), funk and electro in general, vaporwave, lo-fi hip hop (and all variants of chill music), djent and other metal, hip hop and rap, jpop/jrock/japanese music in general, folk rock, indie of all types, hardstyle, shibuya-kei, mashups, future bass and other future genres, happy hardcore, possibly nightcore, speedcore, experimental, jazz, brass band, ambient, house, acoustic renditions of regular songs.
