I used to have a ton of fun in party's just tagging everything dots, and then simply declaring okay and boarded this fight now, I'm going to rain fire and kill everything.
the other two classes I really enjoyed in vanilla were beast master hunter and arcane mage. You never saw a lot of either of those. BeastMaster is great because you can get exotic pets. You haven't had a pet until you get a core hound. And an arcane mage is way tougher than the normal mage, and is a devastating artillery piece. Plus nobody ever takes arcane gear.
I never played a rogue past level 19. That was my PVP monster.
I would definitely pick warlock
rogue can stunlock without diminishing returns and is also op.
don't know much about warlock except enjoy having bags full of shards.
if you want to excel in pvp go with warrior or rogue.
exotic pets were not in vanilla.
id honestly would like to say "stop at ICC"
Warcraft was all about Arthas and after icc the hype train never arrived at its destination.
back to the topic, was Titans Grip nto a vanilla thing? so no 2x2 handers? what gives? only reason id really play a warrior tbh.
indeed, i pretty much started playing only because of Death Knights and Barlow (German insider)
fury back then used 2x1 handers. Titans grip was added in like wrath or cata.
it shouldn't put you off warrior though, warrior is extremely good in pvp in vanilla, if you have decent gear and heals you are essentially unkillable while being able to 2 and 3 shot others with resi not being a thing.
It wasn't listed as part of their stats, but they had an outrageously high stun percentage. Dual wielding either set let me lock the heavy-hitter means straight down.
My warrior was also an engineer. I could drop mines, I had goblin jumper cables XL to Rez people. I had so many weird items that were unpredictably fun.
when we get close to a wipe I would just start pulling crap out of my butt.
And I farmed most of the dragon whelps, and had a little Smokey as a pet.
Engineering was awesome
Back when crafting bullets was something that was profitable,
it seems the decision comes down to rogue,
which spec is best in clasic?
get kroll blade or that crafted ice blade (world of roguecraft dream)
just sinister strike a few times then eviscerate = gg
you just need to learn how if you're going to go full healer, how to juggle threat, in between your defensive skills. If you heal too hard everyone's going to hit you.
i just want to 1 shot pewpew people in any kind of situation. Combat not an option
so its Sub vs. Assassin.
Opinions?
