It's pretty much the exact same thing. And you do have a good point. I'll change it. It's a complete game trailer I'm showing.

Plants VS Zombies 2 = repetitive, microtransaction d_ngfest

Anything else = completely uninspired and irrelevant

As usual, once EA stepped in to buyout Popcap (or at least their game/franchise), then hijack a beloved game/series to ultimately ruin it from within through and through, that's the end of the story.

Have you tried any of the PVZ shooters at all? I understand that EA is a wipe of a company, but this is like the only thing they produce right.

With EA-published titles, I'll believe it when I see it. They're not exactly having a hot streak lately, and the only truly decent titles they've released over the past year or two are EA Sports games (namely FIFA) and lower-budget games such as A Way Out and Unravel.

They also have a tendency to throw 50% sales just about exactly one month after a game's release too, so budget-conscious gamers can aim for that instead.

Played half an hour of it today. Seems like a better version of GW2 with more options and a player hub for people to group up.

I'll give it a go this weekend after I finish Catherine FB.
