are we talking about 2 different games from EA or 1 game and 1 additional DLC?
Plants VS Zombies 2 = repetitive, microtransaction d_ngfest
Anything else = completely uninspired and irrelevant
As usual, once EA stepped in to buyout Popcap (or at least their game/franchise), then hijack a beloved game/series to ultimately ruin it from within through and through, that's the end of the story.
They also have a tendency to throw 50% sales just about exactly one month after a game's release too, so budget-conscious gamers can aim for that instead.
I'll give it a go this weekend after I finish Catherine FB.
