parabellum
I prefer Chains personally, but I'll play John wick. it just absolutely annoys me how he looks and sounds kind of like a knockoff Keanu Reeves.
That should be a video on YT: "Keanu Reeves reacts to people imitating him".
to be fair the guy that voices John wick in Payday 2 actually does a pretty good job.
I still haven't seen parabellum yet. I've always really liked Keanu Reeves and I realized I hadn't watched like half of his movies so I started to watch them.
I'm stuck on the lake house.
The first two John wick movies were really good though. Even though 10-minutes in my action movie decides to pull a Pixar, and stab me in the gut with feels.

Parts of it were silly, but made sense. You do underground dealings, you need the secret currency and know the code talk. "Dinner reservations".
They did almost immediately ruin it when he visited the continental. You need a coin to get into the bar, which is presumably where you make contracts. Alright, that's dope.
But why does a single drink cost one of these gold coins?
No "working" on the continental grounds also makes sense, you need a safe place to make these contracts, and it avoids double crosses.
I also liked how John paid that guy across the hall to keep an eye on Ms. Perkins, that was another GOOD usage of the underground currency.
Ian McShane though, ugh. I love him, he chews the scenery like a pro, but in this series he's a friggin' cartoon character.
Hell, this "society" completely eviscerates the first movie through the sequels, the blood marker crap, it was a video game!
Like why the hell would Tarasov be allowed to operate independently of this All seeing, all knowing, and they're everywhere organization? It would be bad business. Reference: THE MOVIE.
Like, if it was a long con to drag John back into the trade, that's entirely too much to ask of the audience to buy!
They bring in the finger removal from the Assasin's Creed series, and the Big Boss, who the hell is he, and why did Wick even bother going to the desert!?
At first, when completely irrelevant to the movie Sofia dropped him in the desert, I thought he was killing himself so no one could get the money on the contract. I thought that was a boss as hell way to go out.
Instead, he grovels like a chump.
