If you have guns on hand already then that’s good. But guns make a lot of noises and will just attract more zombies to your location. Guns should be your second last resort (last is melee) to killing a zombie. It’s best just to not face them at all and just sneak around them.

As for food and beer... everyone is gonna have the same idea and will fight over the resources (even kill) if need be.

Head to the least populated convenience store, and stock up on medicine, food, weapons and other supplies. I'd avoid chaotic areas and stay out of sight.

But tbh it depends on what zombie types we're talking about.

Not far from where I live, ~45 min by car, there's a Lowes that's about 5 min from a Wal-mart and a Sam's Club. I head there, with my extended family, and do so way before tomorrow at 9, to begin prepping both places as bunkers, setting up the garden center for actual farming, walling off everything with gates so only survivors can get in, and only if we allow it, setting up generators that run off of solar or treadmills, etc.

The only real problem might be water, but if we go ahead and start storing up water by freezing it in, well, the freezer section and various refrigerators and freezers from any of the places mentioned above, then we should have enough food and water and power to survive.

Well, getting drunk is a stupid idea, but you probably could repurpose and distill the alcohol for either molotovs or for sterilizing wounds as to not get infected by zombie-disease.

2: The police or army will be able to deal with them. We humans are after all pretty damn effective at exterminating animals. What would a slow moving corpse be able to do to us?

3: Go to my job because I can just avoid all zombies that are around if there are any around after the first day.
