Do you vote with your wallet?

Just curious how many of you actually vote with your wallet? I see people all the time say they will boycott walmart or chic fillet or epic games or a million other things. But I have only ever encountered a few people who actually vote with their wallets vs just running off at the mouth.

So are there any products or corporations that any of you refuse to support with your dollars?

Cause of the DRM or what specifically? I am always curious with the epic haters what was so horrible to them. I get their hatred, but I dont get how the same people dont boycott steam for many of the same reasons. And yes I know steam/epic may get a cut of some of those games. Part of how we can effectivly motivate ourselves to keep boycotting some of these mega corps that release products we desire so badly is to take work arounds that cut deeply into their profits. By buying on humble bundle I am adding pennies instead of dollars to their profits and counter acting the bad by giving most of the money to charity/humble.

I dont like how they use their Fortnite money to buy out everything remotely interesting as their exclusives because they cant compete with the quality and services of their store.
Then there is whole another matter of how they are handling your information and who they are sharing it with.

I don't like Apple the company or any product they make as I believe it's no better quality than any other company, they just charge more, so I have NEVER purchased anything by that company ever. And I say bend over on purpose because apple makes sure they in multiple ways from pricing to forced obsolescence take advantage of the consumer.

Theres that too. Apple as a corporation was reason enough to boycott......but Jobs just added another level of douchebag immorality to that company that all the more resolved me on not supporting them.

I highly recommend watching the 2015 movie "Steve Jobs", Michael Fassbender can do really good work when he is not busy with flute fingering.

Yes of course I boycott Nintendo and I would boycott Epic too but I don't even need to because there is nothing interesting for me in their library. And if there will ever be something I want I will wait for its Steam release or GoG release or anything else I could be fine with.
I never pay any kind of subscriptions and I usually avoid buying DLCs too.

But if you don't trust what people say why would you trust what people reply to this thread anyway?

Nope. I am now in a position to no longer be dependent on money. Unless they are exclusive titles. But personal hate and contempt for the CEO prevail instead of concerns about spending money.

How i actually boycott something? I don't bother to look on them. I hardly boycott something. Most of time it's either it not benefit me much or i don't have fun or joy using it.

Absolutely, the customer's ultimate (and indeed only real) weapon is to not buy products or services from those that act against the best interest of the customer.

Last game I bought from activision was the original modern warfare, world at war was my choice (not my area of interest) but after the MW2 debacle never considered them again.

Haven't bought p&g since the infamous gillette ad, every product previously used now replaced with competitors that do the same job in many cases for a better price.

Every single publisher and developer that has sold out to epic's anti-competition, anti-customer paid exclusivity deal has been Steam blocked and will not see another penny of my custom.

Team red got my business for my new PC (shoutout to the epic sellouts for your contribution to that) because I was sick of blue and green charging insane markups for comparatively minuscule performance gains.
