But poor people and cheap people will say otherwise.
Mind you only a moron preorders/ buys new games. Games go on sale weeks after launch, and it can take weeks just to get the bugs worked out (in the case of Fallout 76 and Anthem, they never got worked out).
I've personally never bought a game for more than thirty bucks.
and AAA games aren't worth playing :)
With that being said, I think paying full price for a game is absurd. I usually just wait for the game in question to go on sale or a buy game bundles. The only exception is if the game has a booming multiplayer like a new COD or Battlefield game. I might decide to buy day one and pay full price.
A one-time story with a throwaway plot, or a too short game, or, basically, anything that is a battle royale with fewer than like... 10 maps? 60 is way too much. That's my opinion anyway.
