Gaming in the dark vs Gaming in the light
Which do you prefer and why. I personally like dark more even tho I know it's not good for my eyes.

light. So I'm not straining my eyes all night, in other words. not harming the most sensitive part of the human body.

Nobody can see you crying in the dark.

Yeah, don't use computers in the dark. Or anything, really.
Both. It depends on the game.
If it's something really atmospheric I'd rather play it in the dark with headphones.

If it's something fast, like an action fps, then I'll play it with the lights on and through my sound system.

Natural light>light>semi-dark>dark

always light, its not healthy to stare at a bright screen in the dark for long.

Light. Not only because I don't want to strain my eyes too much but also because my keyboard doesn't have a background light feature so it's rather hard to use in the dark. :p

light. my eyes sensitive when only have one light source (pc). if keep it longer, i will get seizure.

Your eyes aren't getting damaged by the difference in light. That's a myth.

It is making you tired though.

I point a focused lamp above my screen. So the difference isn't as big. You can also get light strips if you're fancy.

Gaming in the dark will mess up your eyes way more. I have desk lamp with boom next to PC pointed away from it towards wall and ceiling, that way it wont wash out the colors on the screen, wont make reflections and wont mess up the eyes by playing in the dark.

It's not a myth. Games don't have one set of light in them, it's various colors and intensities. Gaming in the dark means your eyes have to adjust to that constantly. When there is light around you in the room, your eyes have it easier.
Gaming in the dark tires eyes out, makes them dry, give headaches and can certainly result in worsening your eyesight.

Then why kids already wear glasses?

I got glasses at 11 and gaming as it is now didn't exist back then, and I know others with similar histories. The two things are not 100% related.
