Are you against Ramming in normal racing games?

Depends on the game. If there's offroad racing you can bet your arse there will be ramming.

If it's circuit racing I try to avoid it.

Why is that?

Usually circuit racing is meant to be very meticulous. Plus circuit cars aren't meant to take a lot of damage.

When I think of off-road racing I think of SUVs and buggies. And those can take a pounding or two.

Its not pollite to ram, unless you know the person's gender and orientation. If the person driving the race car also identifies as a race car, heaven help you.

A game is a game, even with full simulation damage on in forza motorsport 7 i roll the dice and try to make the other guy spin out with minimal damage to myself. the goal is victory.

Thats fair, an arguement for the realism of what a vehicle can take and dish out.

Depends. If you're trying to be aggressive and overtake someone, especially around a corner, and you happen to make contact, that's fine. If you are going out of your way to damage someone in order to knock them out of the race, that's kinda douchy. By all means, go ahead and do it but don't expect people to take kindly to it.

Of course, so long as it doesn't damage your car too much if the game is set that way. Ramming other cars is good for getting them out of the way and you in the lead without any competition. Damages their vehicles while keeping your's in good shape is always the best idea.

Only real racing game I ever played was burnout 3, in that game, well, you get a bigger boost bar and an instant refill to 1/4th of the maximum size of it for making someone crash, so, no, I am not, actually I am a huge ♥♥♥♥ and when I played with my friends, usually system link as the game was on Xbox, I was the person that just kept on making you crash into other cars and walls, over and over again
