That's not dumb though. He's supposed to be an older and darker Batman, and the fact that Jason Todd was killed by the Joker just made him lose his ♥♥♥♥. After Clark sacrifices himself, that's when Bruce turns to the good side again.

But doesn't that mean The Joker has already won? I get that this Batman is older and darker but the opportunity to make his relationship with The Joker more interesting in the DCEU was wasted imo. I don't know, I was really letdown by BvS movie. Justice League was OK but it's not really good.

Christian Bale was a terrible Batman. Affleck is a better batman and bruce wayne, he’s just in worse movies.

Michael Keaton was the best though even though physically he didn’t look the part.
