Games that regularly drop Skins and similar items?
I think that I know of three:

1.) Don't Starve Together. It drops good skins that sell fairly quickly and are worth more than a penny. The game isn't free though.
2.) Unturned. The game is free, but the skins are usually junk. They are only worth one penny and takes many months to sell. However, it does drop good crates around the Holidays. I just never feel inclined to log in and get them during the holidays because I am too lazy.
3.) CSGO. It drops containers once a week, but it costs around $2.50 to buy a key that unlocks them and you might end up with an item that is worth less than the key. If the container is new enough, you could probably sell it for $0.20. CSGO costs money to buy, and I don't like PvP. So I will probably stay away from this game, especially since there are so many cheaters that get VAC banned each year.

EDIT:
4.) PAYDAY 2. The skins are only worth $0.01 now, but it is another game that has skin drops.
5.) Team Fortress 2. This game doesn't have many marketable skins. You would have to craft weapons, then scrap, reclaim, and refine them, before you can trade them for marketable items. It requires a lot of time inside of the game. TF2 does have crates that drop once a week, but it costs around $2.50 to buy a key that unlocks them and you might end up with an item that is worth less than the key. If the crate is new enough, you could probably sell it for $0.20. TF2 has over 520 Steam achievements that you would be stuck with, and the game has so many cheaters that are VAC banned each year.

Do you have any suggestions or helpful information?

PS - Why do so many people get VAC banned on CSGO? What are they doing wrong?

In CSGO you get a container once or twice a week that's sometimes worth a bit,
But mostly you get 3 cent guns or graffiti that not many people want. (once a week)

Games only drop a few cards the rest have to be bought or traded, no games drop a second set.

Don't Starve Together drops four items every week. Unturned drops one item every 24 hours.

EDIT: Sorry, I wrote cards in the subject headline instead of items. My bad.

games drop a set number of cards which never refreshes, only games that you've bought have card drops, free to play games a different system where every 10€ of ingame purchases net you a card drop, which is as retarded as it sounds

no idea why unturned has dropped you cards unless you tied it to your account somehow

edit: oh sorry I was writing my comment before you posted yours with the clarification

Sorry, I wrote cards by accident. I meant skins and similar items.

I have Payday 2 but haven't played it yet since I am not overly fond of the theme. But thanks for letting me know. Maybe it will encourage me to give it a try later. Does it ever have valuable skins or are they always $0.01 ones?

I think that Team Fortress 2 has skin drops too, but I am not sure. It's strange how TF2 is free but Team Fortress Classic costs $5. A little backwards, one might think.

TF2s drops aren't marketable.

Some of them are, I got a name tag from a drop once.

If most of them aren't marketable, I don't think that I want to bother. 520 Steam achievements?! That's insane. For some reason, it keeps saying that I have Team Fortress 2 in my Library but I can't find it in Games or Hidden.

Thank you for supplying more information on TF2 and CSGO.

So in CSGO, you get a container once or twice a week that sometimes has good items but usually only has cheap items? How many items are in a container? And why is it once or twice a week? Why does it vary?

Containers need keys that cost $2.50 USD. (from memory I'm from NZ)
They give you one item that maybe worth less than the cost of the key.

Same with TF 2 and crates.

If they are new enough though you could get 20 cents on the market for the containers/crates.
