Why is Doki Doki Literature Club a special/good game?

I would say because it looks like a generic high school romance daiting sim while in reality it actuely is alot more then that.

Also its free while it looks like something you would normaly pay for.

So an element of a intresthing twist and being free makes it so popluar i think.

Game is like a story. Yes, you have choices that change some parts in the game, but still... You either like the plot of the story, or u don't. Most people like it, so that's why its popular.
