Awesome, and I thought the 50 cal (105mm) rounds from my Army days did some damage - that thing is a beast!
Cal .50 is ~ 138mm .. 🤨
Arguably the first Anti-Material rifle in history. And the ancestor of the Barret M107s and M82s that EOD and Army Snipers carry.
Of course massive-bore rifles had existed long before the Lahti came along. But the Fins were the first to actually use them as we do now, picking off high-value targets and damaging equipment from beyond the range of Russian snipers armed with Mosin-Nagants. Had a flat-range out to nearly a kilometre.
Mauser produced the first in 1918 or 1919.
The l'39/44 was ~ 1939.
your both off by quite some way, its 12.7mm (at-least for .50 BMG), only off by a factor of 10 ish, so, close i guess ? hehe
105mm and 138mm are freaking tank shells :)
138mm is the overall length, 12.7 the diameter..
I have the ammo here 750g & 618g x)
That's why i said 138mm.
idc tbh, just sayin' ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Denel NTW-20. Fires a 20MM BOFORS Flak round - it's explosive and incendiary. Perfect all your family's needs: go hunting with the kids, defend your home, and shoot down all those annoyingly loud passengers jets, all in one handy package.
