It's about my bf4 progression on my ps3

I want to move to ps4 but I DON'T want to lose my progression and the free DLC I got. so can I transfer my bf4 progression on my ps3 to ps4 or will it not transfer? I really want to change console and play on more Australian servers （＞д＜）

I don't think rank transfers if you're buying a new console. I had BF4 on Xbox 360 then bought it on 1, everything was reset to noob status after I downloaded it on the One.

Maybe they were doing transfers at one point after next gen was released but I'm seeing nowhere for transfers now. Eh wouldn't want to now anyways, higher rank and I got my secret white DICE LA character camo.

At one point I was helping people do it. You either have to know how to communicate via a series of light flashes or you have to download an app and let your phone do it for you.

All you have to do is use 2 maps and own the China Rising DLC to get the skin server has to be unranked for you to use the buttons that activate a random number of lanterns they're hidden around the map and some are hard to get to. There's also an app that helps with this, tells you which buttons to press to light all lanterns after you test them all.

Once all the lanterns are lit you punch in the code and it will use Morse code with a nearby lantern and you'll get your own unique code to unlock your special skin. Doesn't work if anyone else tries to use it so you have to do all of this yourself if you want it. Then you go to another map in a ranked server and stand near a water tower for a certain amount of time so another keypad appears and punch in the code the lantern gave you earlier. You'll know you did it right if you hear the noob yelling promoted. You'll have the skin as soon as you load into the next server.
