Grand prix world

i need help, i've gotten grand prix world fixed up to the point where the loading screen shows up, but nothing beyond that. please, if anyone has a soultion i would be grateful to you

Try their discussion group. Beyond that you probably have similar minor issues with other games. Have you checked the steam store page for the minimum system requrements? Verify this against the Steam>Help>System Information window.
Let us know if you need any additional help figuring out what hardware you have vs the system requirements.

what dicussion group? and no, im not running this on steam! im running it on windows 10

Can you provide a link to the game's website then? I'll look around for the proper forum for you to ask your question in, but I need to know that I'm looking at the right game.

oh sure! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Prix_World i have the wikipedia, but unfournately, i cannot get the game website.

I presume you have tried the Windows Compatability trick. Also I don't know where you would find the patch they mentioned these days. Perhaps more information is in the box your CD came in. I don't think I can help you further on this. I never had that game. I know certain games are not forward compatible. Perhaps set up a virtual machine with WinXP on it just to see if it "would" work. (before Windows Activation locks you out after 30 days.)

no dice, stil same problem. thanks for trying to help me out though, i really appreicate this! its a tricky, no doubt. i could proably solve it if i could somehow contact the orginal creators and team, but it's nearly impossible to track them down.

tried setting up a virtual machine. damn it to hell, its hard
