Amazon gift card to Steam gift card converstion?
I got an Amazon gift card for Christmas... I wish it was Steam obviously. Amazon does not sell Steam gift cards. Anybody have any clever ideas on how to go about converting this gift card to Steam bucks?

Use it to purchase Steam games on Amazon...?

Amazon UK sells digital games in the form of Steam CD keys... I'm sure Amazon.com must do as well...

Get a real life friend or family member who wants Amazon credit to buy you a Steam gift card and then exchange it with them. Only way to do it without risking getting ripped off.

@9999 and @anrkyuk - I'm a big indie gaming fan and most indie games i searched for I couldnt find.

@Brujeira - This is a clever idea actually, but i need instant gratification lol

I don't recommend card trade in sites. They are all scams as well.

Ok, does the card allow you to spend it on Amazon Fresh or Pantry ?, if so offer to buy a relatives groceries if they give you the cash or a steam card ...

Probably so. I do appreciate the outside the box thinking. Something that I could do today is porbably not going to happen.
Or if you live in the U.S., just buy a gamestop digital gift card, use it to buy a Steam gift card off their site, and there you go.

This might just actually work... Have you tried this before?

Yep.

It has been a while, but all people used to gift me were Amazon cards, and I would just use them to get the ones I wanted.

my fix to this today was to buy a pc world e-gift card on amazon and buy a steam gift card, with that gift card lmao

Not seeing PC World anywhere on Amazon
id get a new mouse or sthg like that instead from amazon to be safer
1. Find someone you know who regularly shops on Amazon. (perhaps a family member)
2. Sell the Amazon gift card to them for face value.
3. Use this money to buy a Steam gift card at Walmart (or wherever else sells them).

It's not rocket science.

I thought of this right after I redeemed the gift card to Amazon
