Is "Happy holidays" an American thing?
In the UK everyone says "Merry Christmas" even indian people who aren't even christians.

Asshats started the war on Christmas years ago.. and wanted everything and everyone to say Happy Hollidays instead of Merry Christmas....

I say they can all suck Gorilla nuts!!

Pretty sure it's a thing in all English speaking countries (well it's less common compared to the US) but it is usually due to either PC culture or just preferring to say happy holidays.
