Actually... Ever heard of The Ancient Magus Bride? Intro sounds pretty good to me, and... Well, show itself is pretty damn good so far. I swear, I thought I was watching something made by Ghibli, the world of it is so nicely made and drawn, and characters are actually not cringe worthy.
