And for those of us who don't know: they contain an enzyme that metabolises as cyanide in the human body when digested (which is terribly worded by me but I don't care). However, you'd have to eat about 200 or so apple seeds (and chew them carefully) before you would receive a fatal dose

And before then you'd be having problems.

So yeah, rule of thumb, if a part of a fruit or plant tells your mouth "I'm inedible and taste bad" it's a bad idea to keep eating it in massive quantities

I hear there's so much of it in the ocean, rivers, and lakes that all navies and shipbuilders have to specifically design their ships to keep it from coming in. It's actually become a major goal in naval warfare to allow DHMO to reach parts of the ship it isn't supposed to be in.

C'mon people, this is completely inexcusable. If we could just work to replace all this dihydrogen monoxide pollution with dihydrogen dioxide, all of these problems could be solved literally overnight.
