Does Koei still exist...

just wonder is koei still exists, and will they ever make a pc successor to the aerobiz or the aerobiz supersonic,

i love playing the game from the SNES but it would be kool to have a new setup in a new title, if not aerobiz maybe another with some similarity to those two games(i know aerobiz look a little like the wall street game from the NES,

maybe they could make something for pc; multiplayer would be kool too if it could be done

Nah the two companies merged and officially it was the Tecmo side that was closed down and Koei the more dominate side of things.

But yeah they still exist they just don't consider aerobiz worth bothering about compared to their more successful projects.

thanks for the info, i hope someone can get the right to the aerobiz thing and(i don't expect anything, doesn't even have to be aerobiz, maybe some other game with similar features

I know there was one called airport tycoon, but they didn't compare to the aerobiz game, AT i was a little to complicated for me i couldn't figure out how to play it.

The manual didn't have any effective info that i could figure out, and they didn't have a good tutorial to go through to learn the controls

aerobiz and the supersonic one were my favorite SNES games i ever bought, i do play some on an emulator.

i just hope someone can revitalize the game even re design the game, or make it a template for something in the future

They published Dead or Alive 6 earlier this year and have regular releases in the Dynasty Warriors and Atelier series, for example.

Koei's actually still doing pretty hot in Japan, and less so in other regions; they've a bad habit of pumping out grossly overpriced DLCs and season passes instead of fixing their games, something that only got worse in the last few years. Nothing about Aerobiz recently though.
