I hate that fortnite is the popular game. Building is the least fun mechanic I've ever experienced.

It's too effortless. You tap a button while spinning and jumping and BAM you have a tower. Someone shoots you? One button and you got a wall. Not even EPIC likes to show off the building because they know how incredibly dumb looking it is. New trailers show off fun action instead of people spinning and jumping.

Not to mention it seems like every company that has ever produced a good multiplayer shooter suddenly can only release low quality trash like battlefield 5. I think the gold, and the silver ages of the shooter are gone and now all we get is low quality trash inspired by phone games and popular cash shop games.

It's built to be addictive via it's aesthetic appeal and...

"Aha!" moments (what happens when your brain encounters an idea or something exciting)

...which creates dopamine in the brain (makes you feel euphoric/'high'),

...training your brain to want to replay the game for more doses of dopamine.

Look it up. Some game company's today are supervillain-level evil.

This is yet again one of those threads for people are hating on something that's popular because they don't really care for it. Instead of simply just not playing the game.

and this is your solution for this problem which isn't actually a problem. Stop paying attention to fortnite. The only time I ever hear about fortnite is when people who don't like it talk about it.

complaining about it makes more people want to check it out which get then more users.

I would almost say this was a conspiracy to drum up extra users but I I have known gamers for almost all my life and this is pretty much the exact behavior that everyone does when a game is popular. They want to know why the game wasn't customized to fit their play style and didn't cater to their every need.

There's no problem with fortnite.

Yepp another one of these thread. itss kinda intressting how some one is feeling "forced" to play a game when it comes to other stores, but on steam its like "if you dont like it dont buy it" or "why not ignore it".

I like building in survival games, but battle royale? Naw...

When I played, it seemed better to let the tryhards try to build, while you wait for an opening to headshot them. No building necessary. I only played the game on one occasion but building seemed useless to me as well. I managed to win a round by just pointing and shooting while people would try to build like crazy.

I personally don't get the craze, but I also just really don't care enough to actively dislike it.

Lol. Titan fall 2 is nowhere near good as older battlefield games dude. Their just cod with robots. I want a huge variety of vehicles, class load outs and general large long lasting battles.
