I hate that fortnite is the popular game. Building is the least fun mechanic I've ever experienced.

It's too effortless. You tap a button while spinning and jumping and BAM you have a tower. Someone shoots you? One button and you got a wall. Not even EPIC likes to show off the building because they know how incredibly dumb looking it is. New trailers show off fun action instead of people spinning and jumping.

Not to mention it seems like every company that has ever produced a good multiplayer shooter suddenly can only release low quality trash like battlefield 5. I think the gold, and the silver ages of the shooter are gone and now all we get is low quality trash inspired by phone games and popular cash shop games.

and this is your solution for this problem which isn't actually a problem. Stop paying attention to fortnite. The only time I ever hear about fortnite is when people who don't like it talk about it.

complaining about it makes more people want to check it out which get then more users.

I would almost say this was a conspiracy to drum up extra users but I I have known gamers for almost all my life and this is pretty much the exact behavior that everyone does when a game is popular. They want to know why the game wasn't customized to fit their play style and didn't cater to their every need.

There's no problem with fortnite.

There is a problem with fortnite. For like 2 years it's been the largest game on the market and it's changed everything. EVERY GAME HAS A BATTLE PASS! All these new shooters cut content older versions had so they can be simplistic and easy. Battle royal is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ curse to gaming. Fortnite is anything but harmless to the gaming landscape. Kids don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about anything that isn't fortnite.

Lol. Titan fall 2 is nowhere near good as older battlefield games dude. Their just cod with robots. I want a huge variety of vehicles, class load outs and general large long lasting battles.

How about Heroes and Generals? It's a free game and still has less loot box stuff than most paid games.

Me and my friend is currently playing borderlands 3 so there is one sugestion.
Riot games announced a Overwatch contender to if you dont care over politicall landscape.

Zero loot box stuff, I don't think H&G has any gambling mechanics besides the luck you need to hit stuff with antitank rifles

People are flatout refusing to see how badly it has changed the industry. I mean there was a game that was getting made which is meant to be a competitive shooter so i got really interested in it, watched some gameplay footage and it has the whole chratcher specific ability ♥♥♥♥ so i QUICKLY lost my interest.

It's sad what the industry has become and when I do find a game that interest me it's usually dead, dying or has just started its dive to be dead.

I haven't played Fortnite that too much. But in all honesty, building was so freaking hard for me. And when I see all these little kids and streamers building so fast, I feel so old... even though I am in my early 20s.

Tbh even though Fortnite has cartoonish artstyle and vibes but that doesn't mean it is a easy game to play. Maybe it's just me, but the game is damn hard.

Or instead of whining, expand your "gaming horizons" to more than Multiplayer Shooters. Every year there are great games being released and I doubt other people have same problem.
