It's when hot chicks whisper into a mic so that other creepy internet folk can sit in a dark room, bountifully emanating smells of various cheeses, doing even more foul things while they tell other people it helps them "sleep".

Im not going to deny those people exist, but i really NEED asmr. The reason why i listen girls is it feels so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wrong if its dude whispering. Its kinda like getting a haircut, even though its not sexual guys would prefer it to be a girl who cuts the hair.

Its partially loneliness but majority of asmr appeal for me is that its one of the very few things that actually helps my anxiety. I got ocd and general anxiety disorder, i feel bad at least 50% of time every single day.

Never get any tingles though. I just immediately feel calmer and sleepy.

Pretty much the same for me too with helping to relax or sleep to. Never get tingles either from anything. Even the tingle immunity videos lol I feel nothing but still enjoy them. There's so much variety & I like that each ASMRtist is different even when making similar content to others.

It's not just men but maybe as a man you just feel insecure about yourself & are trying to seek support from like minded individuals by putting others down. If you don't like it that's fine but you feel the need to insult those (men) who do. Maybe there are men who need it, I don't, but it doesn't affect you anyway (or maybe it does lol)
