Help me choose - Steam or Battle.net
Currently I have both apps installed on my PC but my hard disc is limited and I think I should get rid of one of them. On Steam I play PoE and Dota 2 currently, as you can see in my profile. On Battle.net I have WoW, D3 and HotS - pretty much the same genres because this is what I enjoy most.

I know that the games on Steam's side are more difficult. They give me a lot of space to experiment with builds but they also require a lot of knowledge to be played right and this is something I don't like having in order to play games. The games that are on Battle.net don't fill my memory with useless stuff and make me think whole nights how to build my characters but then everyone is the same, more or less. Battle.net has less technical issues than Steam but it is not that popular as a gaming platform.

I mentioned some of the pros and cons of both platforms but that's not enough for me to decide which one to choose. I will be grateful if you people help me with this.

I think it won't hurt you to just have both at the same time

Just delete Battle.net.
I'm not a MMO gamer.
HotS you mean Starcraft 2: HotS or Heroes of the Storm?

if you play WoW and thats a monthly subscription you pay for then you must keep battle.net installed.

you can always keep steam installed and uninstall steam games to make room on your hard drive.

unless you have a hard drive from like the 80s or something there should be no problem keeping both installed.

If a mere 5 games are already running you out of HDD space, it's time to get an extra harddrive.

Also, it's the games that take up the space, not the clients. There's no reason to choose at all. Just uninstall the games you're not actively playing if and when you actually need the space.

I don't think I want to buy a new harddrive now and gather dust later.
As you already noticed, harddrive space is limited. They never gather dust, if you have the space, it'll fill up. A normal desktop PC can handle more than 1 drive, there are 4 active drives and two old broken ones in my case as I type.

Just buy one with a removable external case that plugs into your USB (or eSata if you have it), and once you have the new PC, either keep using it as an external drive or take of the case and build it in.
