Well, watching English shows as a young kid helped me out really well with English. But it took a few years to do so.

I recommend watching Korean shows first, or with subtitles. In a few years, you will improve. But it just won't take 5 months, it may take years to learn a certain language.

Depends on what level of Korean you're already at, I would say

Hmm thats interesting. problem is I dont know any korean shows XD.
I have some learning books that I will learn from when I get the motivation to do them (also the alphabet is so damn confusing but looks fun!)

Then no. It's the same with Japanese which I study. There is no point in watching or reading or listening to anything outside of explicitly educational material until you reach a certain level of proficiency.
That depends if you are getting subtitles with Korean Characters instead of the words being spelled with letters then you wont learn much. I heard Korean is very hard to learn. I like Spanish so watching stuff in Spanish helps me. Your best bet is flying to Seoul jumping into the culture and forcing yourself to learn it to survive lol

Seeing as OP can't even read any Korean yet I think it's safe to say that they should probably learn the basics first.
