Odd. My previous New 3DS XL could connect just fine so I don't see why DSi shouldn't.

Nintendo stopped wi-fi support for the Wii and dsi in 2014

Consider the possibility that the DSi is not compatible with the specific 802.11 protocol in use. You might try changing that setting on your access point.

That is, the setting where you choose a letter or set of letters. A, b, g, n, ac, etc.

For real? I thought that was a joke. I don't keep up with Nintendo's bad decisions.

Bad decisions? For ♥♥♥♥♥ sake man those systems are old. Keeping up servers for a few games that nobody plays anymore costs too much money.
Oh, I see now. I thought Wii and DS systems was in reference to current systems as well.

I don't know about the wifi connectivity being stripped from the machine, but I had to change the security mode on my modem in order for my DS Lite to connect (this is years ago now).
It's the only device in my house that uses that odd security mode.

You should still be able to connect(to the store), its not supposed to be completely shut off till march.

Only ingame online features were ended in 2014.

I'd look into this. When i get home I'll dig out my dsi and see if I can connect.

For anyone with the DSi, is the store even worth it anymore? I seriously want to get Four Swords and Photo Dojo

All online game servers for every DS and Wii game have been shut down. No more online Brawl matches, pokemon battles, or Monster Hunter Tri hunts.
Oh yeah I knew about all that stuff. I was just thinking about those two things.
