No, but they should. That's a great idea.
But I wouldn't mind if something was done about cheat sellers. There should be something that could be done against those. If it's a MP cheat and not a SP cheat.
On one hand, hurrah no cheaters.
On the other hand, this seems like a pretty bland thing to waste government money on.
It looks like we can put a W in the column for online gamers around the world - and especially in Korea. The South Korean parliament has passed an amendment to a law on promoting the gaming industry . Based on this law, manufacturing and distributing programs that are not allowed by the game company and its Terms of Service is now directly illegal. That would include aimbotters, hacking programs, scripters, or anything not allowed by the ToS.
The punishment? A maximum of 5 years jail time or $43,000 in fines (50 million KRW).
Now gaming companies won't have to rely on 'indirect' laws in order to sue and accuse hack/script makers and distributors - which should make life immensely easier for Riot Korea and Blizzard Korea. Overwatch, in particular, has seen hacking run rampant in South Korea with Blizzard fighting back with bans against players utilizing the hacks. While the bans have stopped some players from playing, it's good to know that they will have the weapons they need to fight back with the backing of the Korean government.

A question of morals. Honestly, everybody knows that most hackers are young misguided teenagers or even kids that make a stupid mistake, and true most likely teenagers or children will not have to go to jail but the fact that they’ll have police knocking on their doors is a very worrying fact for many parents.
Most likely the very same lives of these young kids, who have their whole lives ahead of them, might even push their parents into economic trouble due to the fact that fines can go up to 1,000,000 WON (or 10,000 dollars US). It’s something to think of, I believe, as it can radically change the lives of many gamers our there.

In the end, as always when money is involved, there are more and more abusers/cheats and that for the punishments are getting harder and harder.
I'm now wondering how we go about catching the cheaters. VAC does a good job, but our new order needs to go further to achieve lasting peace and civil order.
I propose we create a new Police organisation. One which could pass unnoticed among gamers, but with the power to summarily detain, search and VAC Ban any suspicious individual at will. This has proven effective in the past and would help protect the human rights of all gamers to live in safety, play free of cheats, all under the benevolent and omnipresent gaze of their protectors.
VAC itself is effective, but the system can be improved upon. When a Cheater is VAC banned, VAC shall send a wire back to this Police organisation who can then storm the Gamer's room and remove them and any others present. Any parent who raised a cheat is clearly incapable and should be charged by association, the same of any amoral girl or boyfriends and pets.
Now we just need a catch name for this organisation. I'm thinking "Steam Squad" - or SS for short. We can wear armbands, and I have a friend at Hugo Boss who could set us up with some great uniforms.
HEIL GABEN!!!

Not after I'm through. Our Secret Police and Forced Labour programs will make theirs look pathetic!
