what would you do if you are diagnosed as a psychopath?

This is a personal thing and a part of who i am. How are you supposed to live a normal life with this kind of diagnosis? i haven't killed anyone but i've had problems twice in my life with hurting someone, but also lots of times i have had to protect myself from people trying to hurt me, which didn't end well for me, i recently went to jail for assault but it was someone who was about to attack me and i attacked them first. My life is a complete nightmare and i feel like i am just getting worse as time goes on. What the ♥♥♥♥ am i supposed to do to stop this ♥♥♥♥, i admit my feelings are quite limited, but i do want a better life like everyone else. What can i do, what would you do in these circumstances?

You need to take your diagnosis into account when evaluating situations where it can be of relevance. This requires personal insight and honesty; traits not limited by your condition. Even a psychopat can be nice to other people. Condition yourself and stay disciplined.

You need psychotherapy and medications. Trust me, they will change your life for the better. Mental issues are very difficult to work out on your own, and if you are experiencing violence in your life, you are at a point where you need professional help. Don't be scared of the stigmas associated with them either, millions of people require it. You should really look into your health insurance options and seek a clinic as soon as you can.

Stay calm and work it out slowly.

I think the real question is what makes somebody a psychopath.
Having the urge to kill people and/or hurt them is pretty usual depending on your situation in life i think.
I want to kill people everyday but does this make me a psychopath?
If you look at the past and the behaviour of people back then i'm pretty sure you'd consider more than half of them being psychopaths for burning "witches" or cheering at gladiators brutally murdering each other.

I hope i'm not wrong, otherwise this would probably lead you on the wrong track whatever you consider being "wrong".

Psychopaths do have feelings, they just decide when they care about someone (turning empathy on/off), hence why they're psychos.

Psychopaths do have feelings, they just decide when they care about someone (turning empathy on/off), hence why they're psychos.

if you have a problem with violence most mental health facilities do not have the capacity or facilities to accept you, this is in Australia by the way, and instead you will be sent to jails which will deny you basic health care and subscribed medications. and also have little to no mental health care, I am subbscribed ceraquil for mental illness and was not given it for 2 weeks in which i did not sleep, they have absolutely no regard for human rights no matter what you are accused of, and of course not even sentenced of.
