You need more than a beefy PC to run it at 60 frames, max settings, not to mention the poor optimization it has.
I'm more interested in the games on minimum settings (obviously I want to run games on ultra) because I'm trying to find the absolute hardest game to run possible without any mods
Speaking of huge battles, maybe one of the SupCom series with no unit limit?
You don't need an i7 to run that game on 1080p 60fps. I've seen people max it out with i5s from 2012 and a decent gpu. But the thing is that, new order uses Id Tech 5 which is a very crappy game engine and it doesn't even look good. They could have used Unreal 3 but they decided to save $$. Assasin's creed is another case of lazy developers.
Now I'm in Windows 10 so I could play Dishonored 2 smoothly, but I cannot play Fallout 3.
Crysis 3 or Ryse: Son of Rome are both demanding titles and well optimized.
For a poorly optimized game, Assassin's Creed: Unity which is a shame because they dedicated effort into recreating Paris and the architecture is very photorealistic if you play it at a high resolution.
