But.. I can vision something in my mind and turn it into reality.
Let me give you an example:
At work, my employer (boss) wanted me to create something for medical technical equipment, it is more or less a "weight". Since we are talking medication, it can't be constructed of something that can eventually contaminate the machine or the medication.
Since I do know we have pieces of nylon (more like blocks), and we have a milling machine, I get to work. So a couple of hours later I made a prototype - tested it and it failed. So I sliced in half, put in the milling machine make both nylon blocks same size by measuring them with a measuring caliper.
Now it has changed the original design, but has same weight, but can't get stuck in said machine.
Still a prototype, but no blueprints other than in my head..
I'm terrible with math. I really mean it, my grades were a joke. But on the other hand, when I was working with milling/lathe machines even CNC and CAD/CAM the teachers just couldn't figure out why it worked then.
I know how to figure out areas, know how to use most tools, can even construct tools (if needed).
But math.. No. Give me a paper with numbers, it won't work.
Y'all need to lay off the psychedelic shrooms
So if a person sees equations as mentioned by the OP, then since our mind most likely thinks in quantum physical logic such as rationalist quantum states, and then translates the entire thing over to human math via the brain as sense organ for reason... (Neurons are no different from taste buds in the tongue. Declaring the brain as not merely a sense organ is special pleading that has to be proven. And brain/body dualism is a silly form of mind/body dualism.)
You could humor it as real, that a person can “see” more directly what its brain as physical sense organ for reason outputs, after the mind is done with thinking on a plausibly quantum physical level. Hence why it's possible to see superimposed math and other crazy things after waking up. The same way that I "saw" the correct time on my clock (mentioned earlier ITT) either via ESP or by being told such by my brain's internal clock.
Which might very well be a malfunction. People are not supposed to see this. In which case you could argue that it should be fixed, the same way that problems with the tongue's taste buds should be fixed, if there is a problem. But this doesn't mean that these aren't "real" equations.
(Not that I would consider myself seeing the time a malfunction. I could consider it a feature just as well. Moreso if remote-viewing as it happens during NDEs is actually real. If the physical body is merely a 5-dimensional kind of illusion created by dark energy making particles appear to leave the big bang's event horizon via expansion. Or the event horizon that could be your birth/death, if you are already "dead" in a 5-dimensional sense and merely navigating your life. If you are Schrodinger's Cat to yourself. And (will) have a higher "self" after being done here. Or whatever. YMMV.)
Either way, "the brain fills gaps" or "it's a hallucination" is not scientific or sceptical, but a case of begging the question; a logical fallacy.
You describing forms of schizophrenic symptoms.
I advice to go see your local physician.
I would like to see something too to tell it make sense or just crap in your head.
What is it weird about a 2nd grade or 3rd grade equation

I kind of understand this kind of thing. Whenever I work on something really hard for a number of days I'll start to dream about it.
If I keep it up for long enough I start seeing superimposed diagrams/equations/text but I have no control over what I see - it'll just be related to whatever I am working on. Rarely anything useful but I assume it's already integrated into my cognition.
Maybe sort of the equivalent of sounding out an idea verbally to engage more of your brain in the process?
