AMD radeon R9 270 with 2 gigs of memory. good, ok, bad, or horrible

dont get all pc master race on me and say crap like if its not a gtx 1080 its not worth your time i mean is it good for an average pc gamer with a budget who likes playing modern games at a good frame rate. i have already has this graphics card for about a year now im just wondering when i should get a new one.

well currently im really into dishonored 2 and im pretty happy with the framerate (ive been getting 30 - 50 fps) ive been playing on medium settings with max resolution without bloom, depth of field and all that but i wish it would be better because 30 frames per second is pretty choppy.

2GB of VRAM is dying because more people are playing at higher resolutions, the GTX 1050Ti comes with 4GB and the GTX 1060 comes with 6GB or 3GB the GTX 1050 is the only 2GB card in this generation.

There is your answer then. Time for an upgrade.

Don't go lower than rx480/1060 for an upgrade.

GTX 1060 6 Gb would be substantial upgrade without going too much overboard and has no problem maxing out games on 1080p.

Yeah..I highly doubt you could get that fos with only 2 gigs or vram. 3 Gigs would work probably.
