Razer Blackwidow X Chroma vs Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire Keyboard
What i like about The Corsair Keyboard it will match my Corsair Polaris also i like the cherry it has on it and the metallic finish and what i dislike about it is the font on the keycap , Now the Razer Blackwidow X i love that it is brighter than the corsair and the font of the keycap is so good and i like the simplistic shape it has on it and what i dislike about the keyboard is the cheap switches it has on it makes it soo loud comapared to the corsair. If you guys can leave your suggestions it will help me alot thanks

I don't really have a suggestion for you, just that my experience with Razer has been sub par. 2 Mice, both died fairly quickly.

Razer is the apple of gaming accessories. Expensive stuff that has no real substance and just looks nice.

Never buy Razer.

Both are good.

I personally like the Corsair K70 LUX RGB with MX-Cherry Brown

Brown is quieter, but not "too" quiet. Gives you light tactile feedback. A good mix between fast typing and gaming.

K70 LUX RGB has the same controller as STRAFE RGB, but the white background on the STRAFE RGB does make it look brighter.

The main difference between the K series and STRAFE RGB is the Chassis. K series uses aluminum, while STRAFE uses plastic. LUX is the lighting effect added on top of that, keycap font, floating keys (easier to clean) and with media keys.

Hense it's a stronger build (and more expensive). The aluminum chassis is also much easier to clean. Just tilt the keyboard to the side and brush it off.

Has all the features you need for gaming purposes and built to last.

Razer on the other hand, loves to add features for bling and therefore tends to break down more. Only two products I really like and have good quality - that is the DeatherAdder mouse series and the BlackWidow keyboard series.

I haven't used/tested the Razer Blackwidow X Chroma, but assume it's taking the same path with the easy to clean and stronger build metal chassis.

Razer has their own machanical switches, rather than using MX Cherry. For example: The Razer Orange switch is almost identical to the Cherry MX Brown, with an ever-so-slight decrease in the actuation and reset distances.

Another tip: Match your other hardware. If you have a Razer DeathAdder mouse, for example, use the Razer Blackwidow keyboard. Therefore you can use it's bundle drivers for running both. Try avoid mixing too many bundle drivers - this use to be an issue with Razer + Logitech conflicts, but now it's just more of bloatware.

I wouldn't go Razer, the spacebar dies really quickly if you type a lot.

Razer is typically ♥♥♥♥ just cause you own one but besides for that the corsair has more features and looks genrally stronger than your typical anime lit keyboard, trust me man you dont wanna deal with a broken razer keyboard after it breaks rather deal with corsair cause the support is great. Also why get razer when its higher priced than the corsair which does more for the cost of less. Knowing that you could buy key caps along with your beautiful corsiar rig keyboard. Just imagine the possibilties with your keyboard when it comes with an inbuilt volume scroll wheel plus it also sounds great to press, and razer sounds just like my car... yeah you can decide the rest but if you cant, you really need to invest in a tumour removal process

For those who want to see the keyboards
