Never buy Razer.
I personally like the Corsair K70 LUX RGB with MX-Cherry Brown
Brown is quieter, but not "too" quiet. Gives you light tactile feedback. A good mix between fast typing and gaming.
K70 LUX RGB has the same controller as STRAFE RGB, but the white background on the STRAFE RGB does make it look brighter.
The main difference between the K series and STRAFE RGB is the Chassis. K series uses aluminum, while STRAFE uses plastic. LUX is the lighting effect added on top of that, keycap font, floating keys (easier to clean) and with media keys.
Hense it's a stronger build (and more expensive). The aluminum chassis is also much easier to clean. Just tilt the keyboard to the side and brush it off.
Has all the features you need for gaming purposes and built to last.
Razer on the other hand, loves to add features for bling and therefore tends to break down more. Only two products I really like and have good quality - that is the DeatherAdder mouse series and the BlackWidow keyboard series.
I haven't used/tested the Razer Blackwidow X Chroma, but assume it's taking the same path with the easy to clean and stronger build metal chassis.
Razer has their own machanical switches, rather than using MX Cherry. For example: The Razer Orange switch is almost identical to the Cherry MX Brown, with an ever-so-slight decrease in the actuation and reset distances.

Another tip: Match your other hardware. If you have a Razer DeathAdder mouse, for example, use the Razer Blackwidow keyboard. Therefore you can use it's bundle drivers for running both. Try avoid mixing too many bundle drivers - this use to be an issue with Razer + Logitech conflicts, but now it's just more of bloatware.
For those who want to see the keyboards
