Are there any DRM-free software available on Steam?
Are there any DRM-free software available on Steam? I hope there are because I don't always want to start up Steam just to use some software. Also I won't buy any software unless it's DRM-free.

So far every bit of software that I used has DRM in it. You can't boot it without Steam being online.

I've heard that there are a few, but I'm not certain what they are nor do I have any.

If you want DRM-free games, go to GOG.com. I believe everything they sell there is without DRM.

Also, I've only bpught two games digitally off Amazon. One (AOE2HD) was a Steam code, but the other (FTL) let me download it directly and seems to be DRM free. I'm guessing that where there is one, there may be more.

Borderless gaming and display fusion are both DRM free
I also heard there are ways to launch Movie studio platinum 13 without steam

Wallpaper Engine tends to not require Steam to run in my experience.
