Most useless class learned in school
If I had to pick one it would be Biology, Phyisical Science, or Algebra. I'm kinda just looking for a list here of other people's useless classes.

I don't know...PASCAL perhaps? Sure it introduces you to computer coding, but PASCAL is pretty much a dead programming language now... :/

At least it gives basic idea what is programming all about. The basic concepts like cycles or boolean comparsion are in all coding languages. More interesting than math classes too because at least gives some creative freedom (unless copy-paste everything 100% teacher say). Copypasters would never get it, they even didnt bothered to figure out why code is not working when teacher intentionally added bugs (and never saying that to anyone; excpecting ppl to figure it out themselves). Interesting thing that, pascal didnt even had debugger or wrong syntax warnings.

Most ppl get too "spoiled" by math class where you just need to calculate results of given formulas, not used to creative freedom or having to use logic to fix problems.

Oh...

I forgot about those. Were you old enough to get the film reels of doctors showing you cancer horrors? I nearly forgot about those along with my Drivers Ed horror show...

I think those might be why I am desensitized to gory horror films.

Hard to say they all seem useless but for maybe math and reading. Writing to now adays because of computers and phones.

hmmmmmm I'd say ...music and art.

Don't get me wrong.... I like art. But I don't like the fact that ... not so important information is being forced into our minds.
It also depends on how you handle that kind of class.
School was hard enough already - art, music and sport should have a...more relaxing character.
I don't want to learn about playing instruments , if I haven't planned on playing one anyway. I don't want to learn about Marcel Duchamp and his stupid "readymades", when I think that this kind of art is BS anyway.
But that's my personal opinion. Some will say that music and art is culture, and learning about culture is important. idk.... I don't think so. Not at the age of 12~16.
No... I wouldn't want to erase these classes. But I as a teacher would handle them differently.

Actually I was at a school where this was handled pretty well.... we had art classes, music classes, IT classes, sports and competetive sports classes, science class.... And if you were in one of these classes, you got in-depth education on these subjects.

Last year, I took a class on Augmented Reality Game Design, which sounded cool and feasible on paper. For context, I'm a commuter student at DePaul University and my trip to class involved a 30-45 minute drive to a Metra station, an hour on the train, about a 5-10 minute walk to the CTA station, and anywhere from 5-20 minute CTA trip to campus, adding up to (at the bare minimum) 2 hours to make it to class.

I took this AR game design class because I thought we'd be using our phones for Augmented Reality, only to find out that this year the professor had switched to developing with the Microsoft Hololens, a really finicky $3000 piece of technology that required a certain build of Windows 10, Microsoft Visual Studio, the Hololens Tool Kit, and Unity 5 to run. It took me two months, a new copy of my OS, 4 new copies of Unity (which broke *every* game project I had worked on or was working on), and having to dig through an archive for the exact version of Visual Studio we'd need, only for a windows update to break everything and Microsoft to offer no help.

Unlike every other student in my team, I could not develop for theHololens save for the hour and a half we had for the class, as with my commute factored in, I had maybe an hour once I got home before I worked and the train I was taking was the last one I could that would get me home in time, so my team deemed me the most useless part of the group and I ended up making most of our art assets at crunch time to finally have a purpose. We supposedly finished the game (I never got to play it), it's supposedly up for sale on the Hololens Store, but rather recently (like mid-June to July, I think), Microsoft ended support of the Hololens in favor of the Microsoft Mixed Reality platform, which is entirely different and requires another hefty purchase for anyone looking to invest in it.

So we learned an incredibly specific toolset and I messed up my laptop all for a piece of hardware that expired when the class did. I've been cheated by professors before, I've taken classes that immediately became useless, but this in particular hurts so much more because we technically did make a finished commercially-available product that I could put on a portfolio, but nobody is able to play it anymore and because the class technically went off without a hitch, the school did not need to issue us refunds. Should the Hololens have been killed even two weeks earlier, I would have gotten the tuition the class cost (ironically $3000, the cost of the hardware) back.

Chemistry. An additional math class only useful for STEM majors. Also, drawing. I still can't draw.
