Is it possible to play Minecraft on Steam? / Alternatives

Thank you. I have a friend who loves to play building games. So ive thought about gifting Minecraft to her, but have never played it myself yet. Is there some ideas for alternative or is it possible to get Minecraft on Steam? Thank you

It is not on Steam, nor will it be as far as I know. There are many other games that involve the same kind of crafting. However it really depends on what she'd like out of the game - Minecraft and other games also may have other players in them - which can cause issues if what you want is just to build amazing things. They require dedicated servers as far as I know?

If she hasn't played Fallout 4, maybe try that, the settlement building and modding for the game is terrific.

nope (adding game not from steam not work) becouse u must first open minecraft launcher then u can run game this not a steam game soo u can open in steam only launcher nothing else

thank you , i think she is not into shooters... im just talking of simple real - time - building game, where u can fulfil ur fantasys as u will :)
