It was meant to parody this kind of anime. Same with TTGL.

Every anime done by Trigger (Kill la Kill, gurenn lagann, Little witch academia, Panty and stocking, Inferno Cop) Is about exaggeration.

Kill la kill is no less, a self-conscious over-exaggeration of its own genre.

I like TTGL, but this just one just wasn't my cup of tea. I'll give most anime a shot to see if it's enjoyable.
I mean I like Divergence Eve, and that show goes: girls, bikinis,boobs, friendship, space battles, main character's friend getting alive, all aboard the crazy train.

That one took fan service to the whole new level, and I felt embarrassed watching it, but.... I thought it was awesome at the same time. Fights are well done, I liked the characters, story, art style and both openings, but amount of fan service is just way too high for some to handle.

That one took fan service to the whole new level, and I felt embarrassed watching it, but.... I thought it was awesome at the same time. Fights are well done, I liked the characters, story, art style and both openings, but amount of fan service is just way too high for some to handle.

I guess it just reminds me of Fairy Tail, great show just don't see the point of constant fan service. Boobs and butt shots are fine every now and then, but constantly makes it feel uncomfortable.

Then again, I do have weird anime tastes. My favorites are Dancouga, Tenchi Muyo, Nadia, Voltron, Dear Note, SAO, and Akame ga Kill.
