How does steam lvl up bot works?

I've used them a few times. They give you a certain amount of card sets that you do not have yet, for badges that you have not yet unlocked.

You pay tf2/csgo keys. Bot trades these for card sets of badges you havent got yet. Even if you don't own the game, you can still craft the badge. Bots range from 10:1 to 20:1 (sets per key)

If you're getting 10:1 that's a total rip off. The bot I use is 27:1.
