Does anyone else think that recycling is pointless
What's the point honestly its not like anyones sorting out the garbage between plastic paper, all that stuff. Thats impossible. They probably throw it all in the ocean like with the rest of the garbage.

I heard that some states in America have self-sorting in their recycling centers. No idea how that works.

I would figure it works similar to the place I work in. Where it detects the material it is made out of then sorts it by that into seperate bins.

That or by self sorting they mean they have people do that suffering all day for little to no pay.

I guess it's depends on the country then but i know that in French it's REALLY REALLY important and be punished and it's expensive !

No, it's the first one. My friend told me that they have technology that sorts the waste by itself.

They reuse plastic and paper to make new stuff for example.
DarkCrystalMethod 23/set./2017 às 14:03
I re-use our non-reusable paper bags... just to mess with them.
Cassidy 23/set./2017 às 14:04
Our country has not implemented recycling as a norm yet, but a lot of us do reuse things that can be reused, like plastic bags.

WIthout recycling you would not have toilet paper to clean your brass.

not true

Recycling is more about the cost effectivness to reuse materials over manufacturing new materials. Companies have been saving more money on this process for a long time now so that is the point of doing so. It has nothing to do with it being environmentally friendly, because the process to recycle the materials is just as harmful to the air as it was when the material was made in the first place. Anyone that thinks otherwise is living in a fantasy land that has no idea how the recycling process of materials works.

im not saying its hard im saying it doesnt od anything its a lie
It takes a wholelotta electic to refine aluminum, thats why they pay for cans
Rio 23/set./2017 às 14:18
Yep. I can tell you business I've worked at don't recycle and they make more trash in a week than you make in 5 months.

Look at comercial buildings and you'll see dumpsters, not recycle bins.

I just don't care to work for free. The most effort I'll put towards recycling is maybe buying the recycled box if both items inside are similar in quality.
bottles get melted down to new glass i think, not cleaned

paper gets recycled, bottles get cleaned and reused and so on. i don't see how it's a "lie".

i really doubt they take the time to serperate the bottles, paper , everything its just too much they probably throw it all away in the same place as trash
