F-Zero GX is tied with F-Zero X for the best racing game ever created. Opinions aside it's still widely considered one of the most difficult.

Smash Bros Melee is a great fighting game. While I consider it inferior to Sm4sh, it's still a close second.

Wind Waker is one of the best Zelda's, although it can be a bit tedious at times.

Tales of Symphonia is supposedly an amazing JRPG, but I've never played it so I can't really say anything about it.

Pokemon EX (Or whatever it was called) is pretty cool I hear

Because a rated M game with gibbing and gore (albiet 2007 cartoon gore) is kiddie.

Also sick troll.

F-Zero GX is rated T.

hmmm a free game that already has the pixar art style that can disable its gore and gib features while having a visually distinctive kid-mode option available. sure got me there.

...Kid Friendly mode? You mean Pyrovision? That was added as a joke because of "Meet the Pyro".

Also you can't disable gibs without a mod or config, and mods are disabled on official Valve servers anyway.

Also you can't hide those 8,000+ hours on TF2.

Metroid Prime series. first two games are on GC.
Tales of Symphonia.
Skies of Arcadia, I think.
I think it has some Sonic games?
also Super Mario Sunshine, probably.
and the Mario Party games have quite a few fans.
as do the Paper Mario games.
Super Smash Bros. Melee is one of the system's biggest hits and still endures as a tourney game.
Zelda had the proper left-hand version of Twilight Princess, as well as Wind Waker, as well as re-release of Ocarina of Time with other stuff.
and so on.

It isn't exactly hard to find top N gamecube games lists on the internet:
http://www.dorkly.com/post/69055/toplist-results-the-25-best-gamecube-games-of-all-time
http://www.ign.com/articles/the-top-25-gamecube-games-of-all-time

http://www.digitalspy.com/gaming/feature/a807895/best-gamecube-games-of-all-time-ranked/

Take your pick or pick another from a google search. Lists are a dime a dozen.

Some of these even mention games I've almost never heard of before, like Baten Kaitos and Battalion Wars -- which isn't exactly a surprise since I only finally got a GameCube in like 2012 and own only like two games for it.

Probably Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.

There's also Birthday Mode and its sillygibs option.

But I don't actually know what Shady's trying to argue. Seems like he's just doing some oh-so-sick >implying statements and not actually saying anything interesting.

Well there are a lot of good games I collect Gamecube games. There is Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, Wario World, F Zero GX, Star Fox Adventure's, Star Fox Assault, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2 Echos, Super Smash Brother Melee, Pikmin, Pikmin 2, Sonic Adventure DX Directors Cut, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic's Mega Collection, Sonic's Gems Collection, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil Code Veronica X, Geist, Killer 7, Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, Mario Party 4 through 7, 007 NightFire, 007 Agent Underfire, Time Splitters 2, Time Splitters 3 Future Perfect, Legends Of Wrestling 2, Soul Calibur 2, I hear Gotcha Force is very good but that game sells for like $200 used without a case. Mega Man Aniversery Collection.

I could name more if you want.

Birthday mode is only enabled on specific days or on crappy godawful community servers anyway.

You were right about the Pokemon game, it's actually a pretty underrated title.

Star Fox Assault was alright, as was Perfect Dark Zero.
Honestly I find birthday mode more entertaining because it's just more fun when it's silly like that.

If I wanted seriousness I wouldn't be playing TF2 anyway.

Your spleen! --> [chattering teeth]

Star Fox Assault was alright, as was Perfect Dark Zero.
Also I think in Germany Silly gibs is forced to be on.

In the German/Italian versions they don't even gib, they just get "knocked out".

The GameCube had a lot of JRPGs, so if OP likes those the GCN is a good console.

The first metroid prime and that's it. I'm still yet to see a good console FPS game that came out after it.

I thought it was conventional wisdom that the GameCube had a relatively weak JRPG library compared to the PS2? Though strong compared to the JRPG library of the XBox which consisted basically of Blue Dragon and that's it, or something like that.
