Maby Valkyria chronicles? Its not ww2 but the general weapenry does resemble ww2 stuff. You might find some joy from it. There also an game off on Steam for 20 euros.

Also, dont.... watch first sqaud. Its truly not that good. Maby if you are desprate for an ww2 themed anime you might get some joy of seeing anime German AT guns.

Girls Und Panzer doesn't take place during World War 2 but it does involve a lot of World War 2 era tanks.

youjo senki - it's not just action and shooting, there are many events happening behind the battlefield like planning, logistics, etc
