I teach chemistry. What are you working on?
Woof.

I am afraid I am not particularly good at chemistry, and aside from some VERY basic knowledge, it's almost fair to say I have almost no clue about 3d chemistry past what it is and it applications.

The question is "What is the mass in atomic units of one molecule of Os2O3?"

I have no idea where to been start, man. Any help would be greatly appreciated
2 Osmium each with 190.23 ± 0.03 u
3 Oxygen each with a mass 15.9994 u

428.4582 ± 0.06 u

Mole ratios are determined by the coefficients - the numbers you put in front of things in the equation.

In this equation, there are no numbers in front of anything, which is another way of saying they're all one. One mole of CO2 is forming one mole of C and one mole of O2. So if you know it formed 0.038 moles of C, then....

Indeed :) Quick note though: best not to report results to more precision than your stated uncertainty. If you're including an uncertainty of 0.06, the result should be trimmed to 428.46.

Excellent to note. Danka.

Always good to learn something new.

Ok one more question.

What mass of NH4OH would contain 9.3x10^23 atoms of hydrogen
