Locked out of my Uplay account?
So a few days ago got AC black flag on steam, it was fine when I needed to log in, reset password and it was fine, yesterday was fine, today it asks for two-step verification, and it needs a recovery code or google authentication, so I use google authentication, make a account, and type it in, doesnt work, I dont think I ever enabled two step authentication, so now I check my emails for the recovery code, nope, now I tried contacting Ubisoft support on facebook, and on the website, nothing, I literally paid money for a game only to not let me play it, please help I'm so frustrated.

Sorry, I have no idea. Wish I could help. I only own Blood Dragon from them when they gave it away free.

If I might ask, why DID you buy it from them and no off the Steam store?

He DID buy it from Steam, like he said. You still need a Uplay account for most Ubisoft games.

Whoops. Somehow missed the very first line of the post!

Danka!

Still got no idea on how to render aid though. Wish I did. All my Ubi games are on console to avoid this very issue. I am almost tempted to just buy one of their games to see if I can find a solution.

Out of curiosity's sake, did you go to ubi and log in off the site?
Firstly, scan your PC for trojans or keyloggers, using SpyBot or similar. Do a full update and scan. When deemed clean, change your email account password and secure that too.

Leave the uPlay account for the time being, in case it's a wrong password bruteforce lockout.

Have you downloaded and installed the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone? Has it synced correctly?

If all else fails, try calling them on (919) 460-9778.

Tried restarting password, tried calling them, and Google authenticater idk, they said to start the two thing atmuthenticater scan a barcode, but it wouldn't scan, and I think they asked that you can type a code so I just put in seemingly random numbers and/or letters, I managed to fix it, I think I did it by typing in a random number for two way authenticater, spamming it so it would block me, restart password, then exit out of all of that and try again, this time using the new password, wierd since I tried going offline, steam, actual wifi, and Uplay offline, and it just would say checking for updates, then bring me back to the login screen. Thanks though
