Some games are so stressful if you can't deal with the stress it could drive you nuts if you played it 24/7 all the time.
As for games making you insane, maby check out some more casuel genres?
Try playing some single player games on easier difficulty, play some relaxing peacefull citybuilding game. Maby give some more story focused games a shot.
If you are getting stress from games it is most likley the fault of the games you play and how you play them.
I haven't gone out and mass murdered everyone.
