Whats the funnest games you've played?

Looking for some new stuff to grab from the upcoming winter sales, obscure games specifically I already have most of the real well known games

Ok. Some I can think of are Freedom Planet, Doom 1,2 because of all the mods. The sega genesis game collection. Star Wars games and that may be it for Steam at the moment.

Eh maybe Left 4 dead 1 and 2.

Ok. Some I can think of are Freedom Planet, Doom 1,2 because of all the mods. The sega genesis game collection. Star Wars games and that may be it for Steam at the moment.

If you are planning on getting Doom 2, download the Russian Offensive mod.

You can blow off some steam there.

Doom, Quake and Unreal Tournament all have Gold Editions on sale at the moment. They only cost a few dollars, but you get 4-5 classic games and maybe 50 hours of total gameplay per pack.

They're old, but they hold up extremely well. Doom in particular is extremely moddable, Unreal and Quake are great for chilling out and blasting bots. And there's an element of history as well, you're playing through games that helped found PC gaming as we know it.

In that case, buy doom 4. I would suggest the original games, but you're looking for steam cards, soooooooo...

I absolutely loved it. It's the perfect fusion between vintage charm and modern design.

The main campaign is a lot of fun, it's well laid out with good level and enemy design and seriously great gunplay. After that you've got SnapMap, a map editor that lets you create... pretty much anything. It's also very easy to use, meaning you can just dive in and start goofing around.

I'd give it an 8.5/10. Would totally recommend.

Great to know thanks man, I'll pick it up when I can. In the meantime I'll be waiting for those thread hoppers who have a game recommendation list of 100 games haha
