To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Steam
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Steam. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also the community of Steam's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into it's characterisation - it's personal philosophy draws heavily from Robert Aunger literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Steam truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in community members' existencial catchphrase "All Hail Gaben," which itself is a cryptic reference to a commentary node of the Gravel Pit in Team Fortress 2. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Gabe Newell's genius unfolds itself on their monitors. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Steam tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

I personally enjoyed season 3 of steam even if it was a bit different. The only episode I didn’t like was “Artifact”
THere was a lot of filler episodes in the greenlight arc

Some say they have been waiting for another rendition of "Half-Life". But you know legendary Gabe Newell feels about a sequel of a sequel...

He’s always messing with his fans dammit. The finale was great but it didn’t feel like a finale without the appearance of Evil Gabe.

Other shows have yet to include such an ingenious meta character: literally referencing it's maker, but in a unique way.

I can’t wait for season 4, it’s amazing enough that Gabe Newell shocked his fans with season 3 destroying all disbelief that he could only count up to 2.

That Dota 2 episode never got me though. And all the memes and stuff that spawned from episodes 2 and 3 (team fortress 2 and counter strike: go) really made the episodes bad after a viewing or two.

there are noobs in this game that don't understand the system of humanity.
they think they are all betters.
the smartest people are those filthy scammers.
belive me.
they are.
kid scammers aren't
they are just dumb when caught
but really.
i hate when people show off their intelligence by using those ''expensive'' words.
like. you can be smart when you can keep up an argument but making the other lose because of his low sense of the english grammar and by using words that are difficult to be explained is just awfull in my opinion.

Briliant. This post makes you come off as some pompous ass, but it's actually a satire on the actual pompous asses on steam. You speak of our subtle humor and how fools wouldn't understand, yet you do it in a way that makes fun of the people who genuinley believe they are superior because of this. You signify it's satire by presenting the ridiculous notion of having a Steam tatoo on your genitals. An excellent mockery of all people!

Fwa ha, I'm so fine and proper~:emofdr:
